Privacy Policy

Masters of Engagement LLC (“MoE,” “we,” “us”) operates the Masters of Engagement platform at mastersofengagement.com (the “Service”), a production and analytics tool for YouTube creator teams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

YouTube API Services

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google’s handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and login credentials you create with MoE. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider, Supabase.
  • YouTube Authorized Data (via OAuth 2.0):when you connect a YouTube channel, you grant read-only access to YouTube Analytics and channel data. We retrieve and store, per video: views, average view percentage (retention), average view duration, subscribers gained and lost, estimated revenue, comment counts, titles, publish dates, durations, and thumbnails. We use Google’s OAuth 2.0 flow; we never see or store your Google password — only OAuth access and refresh tokens, which we store solely to sync your analytics and which you can revoke at any time.
  • Derived metrics: we compute our own scores, grades, and signals from the above. These are MoE metrics, not YouTube metrics.
  • Usage & device data: we and our infrastructure providers store cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) on your device to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme), and operate the Service.

How we use information

To provide analytics and production features; to authenticate you; to compute derived performance metrics; and to maintain and secure the Service. We do not sell your data or use YouTube Authorized Data for advertising.

How we share information

We share data only with infrastructure subprocessors that operate the Service on our behalf — Supabase (database, authentication, hosting) and Google/YouTube (API access) — under their respective terms. We do not share YouTube Authorized Data with any other external party. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We store raw YouTube Authorized Data for no longer than 30 daysfrom its last refresh, after which it is automatically deleted; we retain only aggregated, MoE-derived metrics beyond that period. When you disconnect a YouTube channel or delete your account, we delete the associated raw YouTube data. You may also request deletion at any time (see Contact). You can revoke MoE’s access to your Google data at any time via Google Account permissions.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly-necessary cookies and browser local storage for authentication and preferences. You can clear these via your browser; doing so will sign you out.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data, and revoke YouTube access, by contacting us or using the in-app controls.
